Rita Monastero, Food Stylist e Chef, insegna cucina in Italia e nel mondo. Organizza catering, eventi aziendali e cura start-up di ristoranti.
Esordisce nell’editoria nel 2009 con Lievito e Coccole e Biscoccole di Felici Editore.
Dal 2011 è autore Gribaudo, con cui ha già pubblicato Pasta Madre, Il Paradiso dei biscotti, Dal forno con amore, e la fortunata trilogia I Pani dimenticati, I Dolci dimenticati e I Piatti dimenticati.
Nel 2017 il volume I Pani dimenticati è stato acquisito dalla Casa Editrice turca Oğlak Yayıncılık.
Il suo ultimo lavoro è il Libro degli Stuzzichini, in libreria da marzo 2018. Attualmente sta lavorando al prossimo volume, in uscita a marzo 2019.
E’ stata vicedirettore editoriale di una rivista di cucina, è presente con articoli e interviste su diverse testate nazionali e cura dirette radiofoniche con varie emittenti.
Partecipa a note trasmissioni televisive e fa parte del cast della Prova del Cuoco, Rai1, stagione 2018-19, inoltre, sempre per Rai, svolge l’attività di Home Economist e Food Stylist, finalizzata alla realizzazione di piatti per gli sponsor televisivi. E’spesso ospite di manifestazioni del settore con i suoi show cooking divertenti e coinvolgenti. Tutti la chiamano la LovelyCheffa, per il suo modo di relazionarsi alle persone e alla professione.

Rita Monastero is a Cookery Teacher and a Food Writer, working for the best cookery schools throughout Italy and the whole world. On top of them, the well-known Il Gambero Rosso, for which she runs both professional and amateur classes. A long-lasting co-operation started several years ago.
Rita runs also classes on Italian Cuisine in Bangkok within a project developed by Il Gambero Rosso and the Dusit Thani College. She has been a columnist of the Bangkok Post, writing articles in English on Italian Cuisine and Food Style.
Originally trained as an interpreter, she runs team building classes in English for major companies.
She’s the author of 10 cookery books, all published by the well-known Gribaudo-Feltrinelli Publishing Company and is now writing the 11th book, due to be launched in March 2019. In December 2017, her book I Pani dimenticati has been translated into Turkish language and published by Oğlak Yayıncılık.

She belongs to the casting of the famous show La Prova del Cuoco, of Italian Public TV Rai1, where she performs live as a Chef; she is also hosted by other TV shows like Geo – Rai3. She is hosted weekly by a local radio station and is frequently invited to run Show Cookings.

Through the years, Rita has been gaining a great experience as Food Stylist: this role refers to food cooking for TV show sponsors, realizing great and mouth-watering to see dishes. She works in the role for a number of Rai1 programs (La Prova del Cuoco and L’Eredità just to name a few) whose clients are the most famous Italian and international brands.

Rita believes in looking good and feeling well and this is the philosophy of her job.
Due to her soft approach to profession and people, Rita is universally called and known as “The LovelyCheffa”.
